UC MEXUS-CONACYT Collaborative Grants Program

UC MEXUS-CONACYT Collaborative Research Grants offer up to $25,000 for seed research projects and have forged a strong network of binational researchers with over 800 grants awarded.

Small Grants

Coming soon, small grants program re-initiating in 2020. The grant recipients will be identified at the campus-level. They will enable faculty and students to travel across the border and otherwise foster collaborations that may lead to collaborative research grants or other binational activities.

    The Health Initiative of the Americas (HIA) a program of the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health (UCB-SPH) was established in 2001. HIA draws upon the multidisciplinary scholarship and the moral calling of UC Berkeley faculty and students to produce new knowledge through action-oriented research; teaching and mentoring; and service and community engagement programs benefitting the migrant population of Latino origin in the United States.
